MKP helps every adult to explore a healthy way of being mature, by rejecting macho stereotypes
The various activities on offer enable anyone to come to terms with their emotions and use them to become the responsible, strong, sensitive and compassionate adult that our world needs.

What we do
Adventure – Local groups – Training courses
Reviving an age-old tradition, MKP-BE offers cis-man, trans-man, non-binary person and intersex person a weekend event called “Initiatory Adventure”. This weekend takes place in a setting close to nature and brings together around forty participants and a team of around fifty trained volunteers who guide, challenge and support them through the various stages of the programme.
Anyone who wishes to do so can subsequently join local circles to continue their journey. These local circles consist of around ten initiated members who meet regularly to support and enrich one another.
Finally, further training courses and seminars are offered at a later date to, amongst other things, develop or enhance leadership skills.
------------ DETERMINED LEADER ------------
Going through these rites of passage requires courage. A spirit of adventure and determination is welcome when we take the courageous decision to confront the part of ourselves that we have often left in the shadows. This spirit also helps us in our quest for a life of authenticity, responsibility and integrity.
We, the members of MKP, believe that the men and individuals who complete the weekend will become determined leaders, because once they have completed their initiation, their task will be to lead their lives by fighting against their personal shadows.
“The only demons in the world are those that lurk within our hearts. That is where the battle must be fought” (Gandhi).
Today, the mission of the determined leader is to serve the world. The path of the ‘determined leader’ is to live a life of integrity and conscious choice.
Integrity is an unwavering love for our truth, and the determination to live by it.
Conscious choice means being awake in every moment; it means investing our own power in our personal mission. This involves knowing who we are, what we want, and stating it clearly.

We believe that we must be the change we wish to see in the world.
The ManKind Project aims to create a better, safer and more caring world – for ourselves, for our loved ones and for future generations.
We do not believe that the transformation of our world depends on the arrival of a providential figure or a charismatic leader. Bringing about the change we need is the responsibility of every human being. To bring about change in our world, each person must start by changing themselves.
We want to build a world where every human being takes full responsibility for their actions. A world made up of mature, supportive and well-balanced adults, capable of fulfilling their roles with empathy, a willingness to listen and kindness.
